Ok mom! I can't hold this pose any longer!

Seth actually fell to the ground and held his body all over moaning seconds after this picture was taken. It was just his way of telling me the day was long and hard and he needed to go home. Home is truly where his heart is. Seth did so well, and wrestled with all his being. He won his second match and walked off the mat as if he was casually crossing the street with no one watching. He is so cute. I love his hidden enthusiasm only few of us are lucky enough to see!

I love you man!

by jove! He's coming fast and furious!

Seth and Branson's Orange and Blue BSU match

Branson is a big bad fighter until it comes to the mat. Especially, when he has to take down a little five year old that didn't even make him mad! He wouldn't make sense of throwing a kid to the ground, when he couldn't even play fair and use the choke hold with his fingers while sitting on the back of the violator, listening for pleads of mercy. I mean what kind of sport is this? Parents desperate to see their child on top of the kid pinned underneath, scream things like..."Don't let go or we will not be going to grandpa's tonight, or Ever!" If the kids wrestling know each other, and (or) the parents are friends, you might hear "come on sweetheart, just give Brady a great big hug and sit on his tummy. Ok you got it, now just stay right there until the whistle blows." The whole time the parents are smiling at each other more than watching the wrestlers.

Ok, I have to admit, I enjoy watching my boys wrestle. It's not my favorite sport, but it is a sport all the same! For some reason, our kids are almost too nice when it comes to wrestling. Although we had many, years when we lived in Caldwell of (almost) undefeated titles.Calli even wrestled for 2 years (to all boys) and only lost once. We love these memories with our kids!
